 Photo Donators remain the owners, and or copyright holder if applicable, of the Photos sent to me. They are on this site to add to the text, and story, **You may link to the __Page__ they are located on only!** Please understand- Asking permission to use the photos, requires many hours of my time locating the original donator, and in some cases can't be done, due to email changes.  Please do not ask!

I will leave the First Nations to record and publish their own history, as I have limited information available to me, and I am not First Nation Ancestry, so have no right to do that. The term "Indian" is used in my site, where it is the historically accurate term, in regards to job titles etc., and is not meant in any derogatory way.  If the term is being quoted from a book, census form, etc, then it will be written in my pages that way. I don't personally agree with the way the Europeans came and took over this land, but unlike what some think, you can not erase history. You learn from history so the mistakes are not made again. Just as it is extremely important to have a record of First Nation history in Canada, I also feel these other men and women need their history saved.  This is the purpose of my web page.</callout>
